John's Bag End

John's Bag End which must surely be complete now.

An excellent job John.

All made out of Ticky Tacky!

That down pipe is a lovely touch made from a bendy plastic straw and a small piece of medical kit.

All John's work is made from odds and ends which would be called junk in another's hands.

Is this before the door was painted green or is that yet to come?

Just needs a wood pile in that out shed or perhaps some garden tools.

Terrific work.

Not GW but too good to be hidden away in Magna Carta or where ever it is you live.

My dear old hobbit, what a photographer was lost in you when you chose to take up lounging in tea houses of ill repute of a Friday, getting stoned on hot tea and lardy cakes, talking rubbish in strange eldritch tongues with an equally unhinged oppo. The pictures are stunning and the brilliant idea of taking them in front of the hedge was inspired. Talking of which, the greens of the hedge have pointed up my error in using such a dark heavy green. I must stipple it all over with lighter greens. Apart from that 'Bag End' looks marvellous, There is a log pile in the lower left hand corner of shot 2, shot 4 and the upper left of shot 5 though in that shot the logs and trestle containing them has fallen over. You have turned an artfully constructed pile of junk into a tour-de-force, which Lobelia Sackville-Baggins would nick at the drop of a ring. Many thanks old friend. John

The log pile taking a tumble was missed as the art director and continuity girl were both missing for about an hour when these shots were taken. Shame as she really is very good at continuity.
