Into Uniform

So here they are with an upward coat of Cam Dark Green and a downward coat of  Field Grey.

Now comes the tricky part - all that indistinct detail.

I'm worried that there may be a tinge of the base green showing through but, so far, I can see no difference between these and the black undercoat ones.

(In truth, the main reason for using the green is that I bought a can for the kids at Swell School and it's hardly been used!)

I've sent off for 'Colours of War' a painting guide, hoping it's much better than the FoW one.

If so, things might improve though I already realise that highlighting needs to be 'louder'.
