We wanted a tiled look for the floor in this 'special' building.
In previous models I've assumed wooden floors that have long ago rotted.
I've used a plastic base previously containing raspberries or something and smeared it with a thick layer of glue/filler mix.
I backed it with thin card while it set to avoid lumps when the 'tiles' were laid.
The card did warp a little but we can glue it down.
Even if not, the floor might well have buckled since the city was abandoned.
I figured a different colour for the flooring and used that cocked up grey/green paint.
Not sure if I should varnish and, if so, before or after dry brushing?
