Shame there's such a difference in the thatching on the two buildings. The treatment was the same.
The dry brushing was built up from Khaki through Bubonic to Yriel Yellow.
Not sure if there are bars on these windows or if it should be wooden struts.
GW says iron bars.
The timber on both building types matches pretty well.
Dry brushing here was from Dawnstone through Administratum
to (Model Colour) Pale Grey Blue.
The door was painted with Orkhide Shade, then dry brushed with Administratum.
The handle will be brass.
I've some washing with various colours on random planks, then 'just' the base to do.
However, I might insert some timber at the rear of the porch to stop that draft.
